  • Our 49cc scooters are now available for the public. For less than what it would cost to order an Uber or other rideshare option each day, you can access a temporary form of affordable transportation. 

  • J1 Students: $65 per week.

  • Local rental with one-month agreement: $75 per week.

  • How it works: 1) Ensure you have a valid driver’s license and complete the Elevate Rides rental application. 2) Attend Elevate Rides scooter school and make your $65 deposit.  3) Set up your payment plan, pick up your keys, and hit the road.

  • Elevate Work students discover the importance and dignity of work. They learn communication and problem-solving skills, gain interview confidence, create a resume, and better understand what employers need and want in their best employees. It connects our community's unemployed and underserved population with the necessary tools to uncover and overcome the roadblocks that keep them from finding and keeping a job they enjoy.

  • Elevate Entrepreneurs provides comprehensive education and resources to innovative go-getters who dream of owning and running their own business or side gig.

  • Affordable mental healthcare can be challenging to find in our community. Elevate Counseling offers our community individual and group therapy sessions at an affordable hourly rate. Our on-site counselor offers opportunities to prioritize your mental health and seek healing from various mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and symptoms stemming from Adverse Childhood Experiences. Individual counseling sessions are available at a sliding scale rate based on your annual income.

  • To meet the needs of children in or on the edge of poverty, Elevate Kids includes a variety of programs and services that ensure youngsters get a healthy meal and other necessities for their mind, body, and spirit. We put smiles on their young faces and hope in their fragile hearts.

  • With the help of countless volunteers, Elevate Branson sacks and delivers hundreds of basic meals to the people in these motels each month. These meals are not a handout – they are a connection to people. Meal delivery opens the door to trust and caring. Relationships are built, and people in poverty are connected to the next steps that empower them to change. You can volunteer to be a part of the solution each month.

Answer to Prayers Ministry will provide two new outfits per child per month. All children must be present at Answers to Prayers Ministry to obtain clothing or resources during the initial meeting.

OACAC launched a project called the People's Pantry. The initiative aims to increase access to food amid economic hardship and limited resources. Stone and Taney county Neighborhood Center locations coordinated the placement and installation of an outdoor pantry available to the public 24/7. OACAC assists in keeping the pantry stocked and coordinates the upkeep. Canned food and non-perishable items are available at several locations.

Description of Services Provided:

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) offers a monthly benefit to help you buy food and food products, such as seeds and plants, to grow food. This monthly benefit is loaded to an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Your monthly benefit amount will depend on your income and the size of your household.

 

Other Important Information and Documents Needed to apply for SNAP:

  • Live in Missouri

  • Do not make more than the current income limit.

  • Current or three most recent paychecks

  • Proof of residency (copy of the lease, utility bill, etc.)

  • Have (or agree to apply for) a social security number for all members of your household

  • Do not own more than $2,500 in resources ($3,750 if everyone in your household is over 60 or disabled). Resources do not include your home, vehicle(s), life insurance, burial plots or prepaid burials, personal property that does not bring in an income, savings and pension plans, Indian and Alaskan Native payments, or any resources you do not have access to.

  • After the application has been received, a phone interview will verify the information and determine needed documents and eligibility.

  • You will typically know if you are approved for SNAP within 30 days. 

  • The Family Support Division will process your application and any supporting documentation as soon as they receive it. This can take up to 10 days. Once your application is processed, you will get a letter that lets you know if you are eligible for SNAP benefits or not.

  • In some emergency cases, you can get SNAP benefits in seven days or less. You will need to complete Section 2 of your SNAP application to see if you are eligible. You can also tell the Family Support Division if these questions apply to you when you submit your application.
